| All Stars Project Co-founder Dr.
Lenora Fulani talks to New York Voices about
young people and performance.
|
The All Stars Project's youth programs were featured on Channel
13 (New York City's major public television station) on Friday,
April 23rd at 10 p.m., on Thirteen's award-winning half-hour
series, New York Voices.
To
view the program on streaming video, click here.
If you wish to see the All Stars' segment by itself, click
on "MODEM" or "CABLE/DSL" on the left side of the page just
underneath the small photo of the young All Stars youth performer.
If you would like to see the two other parts of the half-hour
program in which the All Stars segment appears, look on the
right side of the page under the heading "feature stories."
You'll see two photos and the words: Help Wanted: Black,
Male...and Unemployed Why is the unemployment rate
so high in NYC's black male population? and Tough
Love: A job training program that stresses attitude over hard
skills. As in the directions above, click on "MODEM"
or "CABLE/DSL" under each of these titles and the streaming
video for that segment will appear on your screen. The All
Stars' segment is wonderfully concise and well-produced. It
is an excellent introduction to the All Stars. Please feel
free to pass this along to your friends and contacts.
