| The Boston All Stars held
its first "Meeting the All Stars" event with Pamela A. Lewis,
National Producer of the All Stars Talent Show Network and
Director of Youth Programs for the All Stars Project. Over
twenty adults from the Boston metro area came to learn about
the history and philosophy of the All Stars Project. Ms. Lewis
shared her history as an African-American woman from a highly
academic family who decided to get "her Ph.D. on the streets
of New York" building opportunities for youth. The audience
of teachers, researchers, engineers, artists and social workers
listened enthusiastically to Ms. Lewis description of building
youth programs that draw support across racial and political
lines. The afternoon closed with folks accepting the invitation
to build the All Stars in Boston by donating to the program,
volunteering for upcoming events, fundraising and doing outreach
to their various communities.

Orientation meetings are held monthly. These meetings are
an opportunity for adults to learn about the philosophy
and history of the program that creates developmental opportunities
for youth. To find out when the next orientation meeting

Youth Performance Workshop

The Boston All Stars is inviting youth from the Boston
area to participate in a conversation/workshop with Assistant
National Producer of the All Stars, Antoine "RL" Joyce.
This is a great opportunity for youth from 5-25 years of
age to learn about the All Stars Talent Show which has been
in New York for over 20 years and is now being built in
5
cities across the country including Boston. Please
