On Friday, February 18, 2004, Newark
native, Veronica Osorio, a youth leader with the All Stars
Project New Jersey, the Newark-based All Stars program, received
the Daily Points of Light Award, one of the country’s
highest volunteer honors. The Points of Light Foundation was
created by former President George H.W. Bush to en-courage
volunteerism around the nation...

On Monday, March 7, 2005, Danita Branam, a founding
volunteer with the Development School for Youth (DSY), received
a Daily Points of Light Award. Danita is one of the inspirations
for the DSY, the All Stars-sponsored leadership-training program.
Since the DSY’s founding in 1997, Danita has been a role model,
counselor, and friend to more than 400 teens...

discussion entitled “What are the Possibilities of Youth Theatre?”

Stars Project New Jersey Unveils Plans for Major Expansion |

On Monday, March 14
the All Stars NJ held its fifth annual “New Jersey Loves Its
Youth” gala benefit at NJPAC. The gala, which was attended
by 250 New Jersey business and civic leaders including Congressman
Donald M. Payne, honored four companies as “Corporations That
Care.” The event also marked the beginning of a five year,

Bay Area All Stars begins fourth year in Oakland |
| The Bay Area All
Stars held its latest audition, Saturday, March 12 at Oakland
Technical High School. Every Sunday for several weeks prior
to the 12th, the volunteer outreach team was out pre-registering
dozens of young people on busy Oakland street corners, in

over 100 new contributors added to the Atlanta All Stars’
donor base during 2004, Atlanta is looking forward to an exciting
