Both the Boston All Stars Committee and its volunteer team continue to grow. Sarah Bayer, a social worker and long time supporter of the All Stars Project, has joined Director Evelyn Dougherty and Director of Development Dr. Raquell Holmes on the leadership team as co-producer of Boston All Stars.

In another development, Joan DeCollibus, a founding member of the Boston All Stars, has joined the fundraising team, and graphic artist and student, Althea Chen, is heading up the program’s administrative operations.

At the first February phone shift orientation, Evelyn Dougherty and Sarah Bayer shared their personal histories with Boston All Stars and showed videos and slides from one of the earliest Boston All Stars Talent Shows in 1994. Orientation attendees signed up for phone and street outreach shifts as well as fundraising and office support work, and everyone was invited to the next volunteer training, March 19, where they will learn the All Stars’ community outreach performance.
