On November 19, 2005, the Bay Area All Stars Talent Show Network (ASTSN) held its eighth talent show cycle -- at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center in Oakland’s Chinatown. Sixteen acts and twenty-nine performers created a spirited show before a packed house. The Grand Prize was shared by the dance troupe Marley and 12-year old rapper, Godson.

The Bay Area Center for Independent Culture (BACIC), an independently-funded San Francisco Bay Area non-profit, produces the All Stars Talent Show Network (ASTSN) youth development program.
