Broadway (Sometimes Off) is a theatrical love letter (with music) to contemporary Broadway, created and presented by the Castillo Theatre ensemble under the direction of Madelyn Chapman. The production, which ran five performances only, opened Friday September 15 and closed Saturday, Sept. 30. This summer, Youth Onstage! (YO!), the youth theatre of the All Stars Project, graduated a record 23 students from its Community Performance School's tuition-free Summer Theatre Institute. An All Stars Talent Show was held on Saturday, June 3, at Barringer High School in Newark. 88 young singers, dancers, rappers and steppers — ranging in age from 5 years to 25 years-old — performed for an enthusiastic audience of 300 family, friends and neighbors

| The Bay Area All Stars Produces Its 10th Talent Show! |
| Youth outreach began on September 16 to pre-register performers for BACIC's 10th talent show, a special one-day event to be held November 11 at Historic Sweet's Ballroom in downtown Oakland. On August 11, the Atlanta All Stars sponsored a summer art and performance benefit called "Censor Me!"
The event — part gallery show, part art auction and part live performance — was held at the Eyedrum Art Center near downtown Atlanta and was attended by 200 people.
