The Bay Area All Stars is Shining Brightly (Through the Fog)!

The Bay Area All Stars, an independently funded program of the Bay Area Center for Independent Culture (BACIC), is beginning its sixth year sponsoring the All Stars Talent Show Network. Having produced its first audition in Oakland in February 2002, the Bay Area All Stars recently held its eleventh talent show at Oakland Technical High School on April 14.   Twenty-three acts performed in front of an audience of 100 parents, neighbors, and friends.  The all-ages volunteer team of producers included youth performing as stage manager, tech director, and box office manager. Since its inception, more than 2,000 young people from the Oakland/Bay Area have participated in the All Stars Talent Show Network.
