The Atlanta All Stars held its second talent show of the year at the College Park City Auditorium on November 3. The show brought out 18 acts, five of which were made up of veteran All Stars performers. One of the alumni groups, T-Pizm, traveled all the way from Florida, after having performed at their first show with the All Stars Project of New York! The three judges at the November 3 show were community leaders in the arts and social services. There was a crowd of over one hundred people present in the audience. The extremely spirited show followed a dynamic workshop where young people demonstrated their boundless creativity by creating their own “commercials” for products that would benefit the community.
A couple of weeks after the show, young performers and volunteers held a meeting to talk about the growth of the Atlanta All Stars and began to talk about ways to build the program and involve more youth over the next year.
