The All Stars is proud to be hosting and co-sponsoring Performing the World '08 (PTW '08) – the international festival/conference of the growing international performance movement – at our newly renovated performing arts and development center on West 42nd Street in New York City from October 2-5, 2008.

PTW '08 will feature workshops, presentations and performances related to cultural, economic and psychological development, community building, social justice, citizenry, individual and social transformation, and social entrepreneurship. PTW '08 will take place at the All Stars center, as well as at theatres, schools and other venues throughout Manhattan and the five boroughs. New Yorkers from virtually every neighborhood will open up their homes to out-of-towners to build person-to-person ties between ordinary New Yorkers and performance activists and scholars from around the world.
